Founders

  • Tom Wamberg

    Chairman and CEO of Longevity Life Advisors, Inc. Tom is the former CEO of Clark Consulting, CLK, NYSE, and served as President of Human Longevity Insurance and is the founder of three biotech insurance firms, Wamberg Genomic Advisors, now Genomic Life, HealthOME, and Longevity Life. Tom is a member of the Foundation Board of the Cleveland Clinic and has been recognized as a 1,000 Longevity Leader.

  • Dr. Paul Billings, MD-PhD

    Founder and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Longevity Life Advisors. He has held academic appointments at Harvard University, U.C. San Francisco, Stanford University, and U.C. Berkeley; and served as a board-certified internist and medical geneticist at leading medical centers.

  • Michael Nall

    Michael Nall

    Founder and Executive Advisor of Longevity Life Advisors and has been a leader in Healthcare and Biotech for over 30 years, serving as an executive at GE Healthcare, Clarient, Biocept, Biological Dynamics and Exai Bio. He has served as a board member for the Clearity Foundation, PRECEDE and on the Industry Relations Committee for the Moores Cancer Center at UCSD.

  • Lauren Flanagan

    Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Longevity Life Advisors. Lauren has held various leadership roles with national distribution firms. She has a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University and AI Strategy Certification from UC Berkeley.  She is a dedicated advocate for social impact, empowering healthier lives.

  • Jim Morris

    Past Chairman and CEO of Pacific Life Insurance Company, and of its parent companies Pacific Mutual Holding Company and Pacific LifeCorp. Mr. Morris is on the board of Southern California Edison, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and a past board member of the American Council of Life Insurers.

  • Bill Shelow

    President and CEO of LIBRA Insurance Partners LLC (the merged entity of LifeMark Partners, Bramco and IDA). LIBRA has over 95 member firms that represent over 50,000 agents and advisors. LIBRA is the largest independently owned life insurance distribution organization in the country. Prior to his transition to the distribution world Bill spent 25 years with Harleysville Insurance Companies where he served as President of Harleysville Life Insurance Company.

  • John Allen

    President of EOI Service Company. John is a national expert in leading successful employee enrollments for many of America’s largest employers. EOI brings 45 years of experience of voluntary benefit design, communication, and enrollment in the United States.

  • Dr. Diane Simeone

    Director of the Moores Comprehensive Cancer Center and UC San Diego Health and the Chugai Pharmaceutical Chair of Cancer. An international recognized surgeon scientist in the study of pancreatic cancer, she has served on the NCI Pancreatic Cancer Task Force and has long-standing NIH funding in early detection biomarkers. She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.

  • Dan Gray

    A 48-year veteran of the insurance/reinsurance industry and has served as the Chairman and CEO of Northstar Companies, Inc. since 2000. He also serves as Chairman and CEO of Nautilus Strategic Advisors (Bermuda) Limited, Chairman of Nautilus International Holdings, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Nautilus Reinsurance Company (Barbados) Limited and Nautilus Management Services, Inc. Mr. Gray was the Founder and CEO of Providence Life Assurance Company. He is an Operating  Partner of Black Rock Long Term Private Capital and has been actively involved as a principal and an advisor in global M&A in the insurance/reinsurance business.

  • Dr. Brad Perkins

    Served at CDC as leader of anthrax response and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. Dr. Perkins served in senior executive roles at Vanguard Health Systems and Human Longevity Inc. Dr. Perkins created the Health Nucleus.

  • Dr. Tom Graham

    Served as Chief Innovation Officer of Cleveland Clinic. He is author of the best-selling book, Innovation the Cleveland Clinic Way: Transforming Healthcare by Putting Ideas To Work. Dr. Graham is the holder of over 50 patents.

  • Dr. Santosh Kesari

    Founder of Pacific Neuroscience Institute, and Director of Neuro-oncology and Chair of Translational Neurosciences at Saint John’s Cancer Institute. Dr. Kesari is an internationally recognized scientist with over 400 scientific publications and has led over 100 clinical trials in cancer, neuroscience, and immunology, and is thought leader and advisor to many non-profits and biotech/startups.

  • Peter Gilman

    Graduated from Iowa State University in 1986 with a degree in Finance.  After working at Clark/Bardes, Inc. in Dallas, Texas for several years, he moved back to Iowa and began working at AEGON / Life Investors in February of 1993 as the National Director of Advanced Sales for the Individual Division.  Shortly thereafter he founded Extraordinary Markets, an AEGON company.  Peter became the President and Chief Executive Officer and worked to develop and grow AEGON’s fully integrated global business insurance solutions platform.  Peter left AEGON at the end of 2009 to form Carbry Capital, Inc.  Carbry Capital is a firm that leverages Peter’s unique background and knowledge to assist the various stakeholders involved in life insurance-based transactions.  Peter is also a co-founder of Engaged Retirement.  Engaged Retirement is an innovative insuretech company that has created the intellectual property needed to power the next generation.

  • Heath Balcer, PhD

    An advisor for Longevity Life Advisors and has been active in healthcare and life sciences for over 15 years, serving in commercial and operations roles at Thermo Fisher, Biomatrica, and Biological Dynamics. He holds a doctorate in molecular and biology from Brandeis University.

  • Jim Davidson

    Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of EOI Service Company, Inc. and a founder of the company. EOI is the oldest voluntary benefit enrollment firm in the United States. Jim is a past director of the Chicago Association of Life Underwriters and past President of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
